Estimated Labor Force

The Estimated Labor Force module is used to assign the estimated number of employees which would be required for the production casting process. This will allow you to forecast the number of staff needed to produce Beds.  This data will be viewed on the Production Planning screens (see Figure 5 below).

To access the Estimated Labor Force screen, use the Setup > Production Setup on the main menu at the top of the screen, then click on Estimated Labor Force (see Figure 1 below).

Assigning the estimated number of staff needed to produce on a Bed (not for maintenance):

  1. Select the Plant in which the production bed is located using the drop-down list (see Figure 2 below). 
  2. Click on the Pen Icon to the left of the corresponding production Bed you would like to assign the estimated number of staff (see orange box Figure 3).
  3. Once clicked, the Edit modal will display (see Figure 4). From this modal box you can enter/edit the Est Labor Amount (# of staff) for the production Bed.

Entering the Actual Labor Force (number of staff) required is done when scheduling (see Figure 6 below) or editing a production bed schedule (see Figure 7 below):
