The Scrapped Piece Marks Report is used to display all the Scrapped Piece Marks within a given date range. There are other filterable fields such as by plant and job, but also the report has a group by functionality to allow you to group by up to 3 different fields simultaneously.
Using the Scrapped Piece Marks Report under the Reports > Reports – Quality Control Menu (Fig. 1)

Filter
**By default the filter will automatically use the date range of the start of the week to the end of the week
You can change the fields at the top screen (Purple box Fig. 2) to filter the results displayed on the screen. Once the Filter fields have been entered, press the Search button (Green box Fig. 2). To Reset the Filter, press the Clear button (Red box Fig. 2).
The filter is also where you can select the group by and sort order for the report. You can select up to 3 of each (Sort and Group by). When you select one by using the checkbox in the corresponding row it will auto assign it as the next value to sort or group by. For example, above in Fig. 2 we can see that Job number was selected first, then Scrap Date, then Plant location last for the Group By fields.

Simple View
Fig. 3 is how the screen will appear if you do not have any sort order or group by fields selected. You can still use the filters without the group or sort by and get a simplified view

Grouping View
When you DO use the grouping feature, the report will adjust to create the appropriate headings and totals for the groups as seen in Fig. 5 based on the groups selected in Fig. 4.
Report and Export
The report allows you to create a more printable version of the data and will carry over the filter options. The export will create an excel file of the data and will carry over most of the filter selections but will not carry over the group by function.
