Carrier Rates (.NET)

The Carrier Rates module defines and manages shipping carrier rates. Use these specified carrier rates to keep an eye on market developments and potential cost-saving opportunities. 

To get to the Carrier Rates screen, use the Accounting tab on the main menu at the top of the screen, then click on Carrier Rates (Figure 1 below).

To add a new Carrier Rates, fill in the applicable information for the carrier:

1. Location
2. Carrier (Must select one)
3. Per Mile Rate (Must be a non negative number)
4. Wait Time Rate (Must be a non negative number)
5. Shuttle Time Rate (Must be a non negative number)
6. Dead Head Rate (Must be a non negative number)
7. Blanket Permit Rate (Must be a non negative number)
8. Type
9. Miles (Must be non negative number)
10. Rate (Must be non negative number)
11. Type Fuel Charge
12. Base Fuel Base (Must be non negative number)
13. MPG (Must be non negative number)
14. Click on the “Update” button to Add the new Carrier Rate (see the Orange box in Figure 3)

Edit Carrier Rates

To edit click on the “edit” button to the left the carrier rate you’d like to edit (see the Green box in Figure 2) this will bring up the Edit Item window (see Figure 4). 

1. You can change the Per Mile Rate (Must be a non negative number)
2. You can change the Wait Time Rate (Must be a non negative number)
3. You can change the Shuttle Time Rate (Must be a non negative number)
4. You can change the Dead Head Rate (Must be a non negative number)
5. You can change the Blanket Permit Rate (Must be a non negative number)
6. You can select a new Type
7. You can change the Miles (Must be non negative number)
8. You can change the Rate (Must be non negative number)
9. You can select a new Type Fuel Charge
10. You can change the Base Fuel Base (Must be non negative number)
11. You can change the MPG (Must be non negative number)
12. Click on the “Update” button to Add the new Carrier Rate (see the Orange box in Figure 4).

Delete Carrier Rates

To delete a carriers rates, click on the "X" delete button (Red box in Figure 5) on the row associated to the rates you would like to delete and confirm you would like to delete the rates.
