Before your imported records are added to your sales opportunities, they must be verified. Records with errors can’t be moved. You will be warned if any of the uploaded records are duplicated.
There are a few types of errors that you might encounter.
- Lookup Errors: The value entered must match a field value in Concrete Vision.
- Validation Error: The field doesn’t match the specification on the 2nd sheet of the template spreadsheet.
- Data Type Error: The field is of the wrong type: IE, a letter when a number is expected.
- Duplicate Error: The job name and job number combination has been repeated in the uploaded file or previously uploaded unverified records.
WARNING!!
If your uploaded records have values that are longer than allowed, they will be truncated.
Click the Pencil icon to edit the record and correct any errors.

Verify
Click the check mark to verify a record. A record can’t be moved if it has not been verified. You can also click the Verify All button to verify all of the records. If any validation errors are encountered, the record will not be marked as verified.
Move
Only verified records can be moved. At this point, the system will check for any jobs with the same job number and job name combination. If a match is found, the record will not be moved. Contacts other than Sales Person, Estimator, and Project Manager will be created if they don’t exist. If the company for the contact doesn’t exist, it will be created. If there is no company associated with the contact, the contact will be assigned to the “Un Assigned” company.
