Time Zones

The Time Zones module is where time zones are defined and managed. These defined time zones are used throughout the Concrete Vision application as options which can be selected. 


You access the Time Zones screen from the Configuration > System Setup menu, shown in Figure 1 below.

Add Time Zone


Click the "Add new record" button from the main Time Zones screen (see the Green box in Figure 2) to open the Time Zone Add Item window (see Figure 3).

  1. Enter a Time Zone Code. (Character limit: 50)
  2. Enter a Name. (Character limit: 50)
  3. Enter a Description. (Character limit: 75)
  4. Specify the Offset.
  5. Specify the OffsetDST.
  6. Specify if the new Time Zone is [ Active ] for use in the application by checking it ON/OFF .
  7. Click on the “Update” button to Add the new Time Zone (see the Green box in Figure 3).



Edit Time Zone 


Click on the “Edit” button to the left the Time Zone you’d like to edit (see the Orange box in Figure 2) this will bring up the Edit Item window (see Figure 4).

  1. You can change the Time Zone Code. (Character limit: 50)
  2. You can change the Name. (Character limit: 50)
  3. You can change the Description. (Character limit: 75)
  4. Specify the Offset.
  5. Specify the OffsetDST.
  6. Specify if the new Time Zone is [ Active ] for use in the application by checking it ON/OFF .
  7. Click on the “Update” button to Add the new Time Zone (see the Green box in Figure 4).



Remove Time Zone

  1. Click the "Delete" button in the corresponding row of the Time Zone you wish to remove (see Red box in Figure 5). Please note: You cannot delete a Time Zone if it is in use
  2. Click "OK" in the dialogue box that appears to confirm you wish to delete the record.
