This article is here to show you how the different parts of the production planning screen work. Instead of explaining things with screen shots and text. I am going to briefly describe the feature and then link a short video showing how the feature works.
First the filter for the screen is different than the standard filters on most of our screens in Concreete Vision. The video below explains how to filter the screen.
1.
The production planning screen allows you to schedule your forecasted pours even if you don't have pieces in the system to schedule in the pours. This allows more effective capacity planning for your facilities.
2.
There are multiple ways to move pours around on the production planning screen in Concrete Vision. The next video explains the three most common ways to move a pour around on the production planning screen.
3.
Once you have your pours planned and scheduled and pieces imported into the system you can begin adding pieces to the individual pours on the production planning screen.
4.
When you are in a pour you can add molds to the bed for the pours you are working on in order to track where the molds are on the bed and what pieces can be poured in them.
5.
When you are in a pour you can also add what mixes are being used on the individual pours on your beds. You first need to set up the mixes in the configuration module of the system. This is how you add your mixes to the pour.
6.
Also while in a pour you can add strand to the pour. The strand also needs to be set up in the configuration module. You can see how strand is added in the following video.
7.
Concrete Vision also allows you to track the piece finishes on a piece by piece basis. The finishes do need to be added into the configuration module. Once they are you add them by followig the method in the following video.
8.
If you want to add a file attachment to the pour you can do that in Concrete Vision as well. You can also choose whether or not it prints on the pour packet.
