Move Contact(s)

To Move a contact from one company to another start by clicking the Move Contact link under the CRM tab in the main menu (Figure 1).

On the list screen you can view all of the contacts that you are going to be moving. (Figure 2 is showing the screen with no contacts selected).

By clicking on the "Add Contacts" button (Green box in Figure 2) you can navigate to the Contact Search screen. While on this screen you can search for specific contacts to add to the Move Contacts screen. You can Filter and Sort the contacts in various ways (see below).

To add the contact mark the checkbox (Yellow box in Figure 3) at the start of the row of the corresponding contact you want to move.

Once all contacts you wish to move at one time have been selected, press the "Add Contacts" button (Green box in Figure 3) to add them to the Move Contacts screen.

Sort/Order By

** The currently selected heading to sort by will have the sort by icon next to it ()

  1. Click any of the headings (see Orange box in Figure 3) to change the table to be sorted by that headings category.
  2. Click the same heading again to change the sort by function to be descending instead of the default ascending.

** searching and clearing the filter leaves the current screen, so ensure you have saved all changes you wish to keep before completing one of these actions.

  1. Click the "Filter" button at the top of the screen (Purple box in Figure 3) to open the filter menu (Figure 4) to search for specific results
  2. You can enter, change, and select any of the inputs/items to obtain specific results or fewer.
  3. To clear/reset a current filter press the "clear" button (Red box in Figure 4).
  4. To re-generate the table using the filter click the "search" button (Green box in Figure 4)
  5. To close/hide the filter press the "Filter" button again (Purple box in Figure 4).

After you have added contacts to be moved you need to select a company to move those contacts to. To do so press the "+ Select" Button (Yellow box in Figure 2) to open the company selector. To Search for a company you must type in the first 3 characters of the companies name then it should appear, if you don't see it then keep typing in the company name until you do see it. When you do see it, click on the company name then press the "Save" button (Green box in Figure 5).

To remove any contacts you no longer wish to move, mark the checkbox at the beginning of the corresponding row of the contact you want to remove then press the "Remove" button .

After all contacts meant to be move are listed on the screen and a company has been chosen (Figure 6) then press the "Move" button (Green box in Figure 6) to initiate the moving of the selected contacts.
