Erection Sequence - Production

Modified on Mon, May 18 at 7:25 PM

Overview

The Erection Sequence screen, accessed through the Production module, displays:

  • the erection sequence either by piece mark or Control number for a job
  • the status of piece marks in a job
  • load number of piece mark
  • delivery date of a load

Production Managers can reference the erection sequence, load numbers, and the delivery dates to schedule the pours of piece marks within a job. Pieces with a backlog status can be added to a pour from this screen.

Accessing the Screen

Navigate to Production >Erection Sequences from the main menu (Figure 1).

Adding a Piece Mark to a Pour

A production manager can reference the information from the Erection Sequence by Piece Mark or Edit Erection Sequence screen to make a decision on adding pieces with a status of backlog (BKL) to an already scheduled pour.

  1. Locate the checkbox in the left-most column in the piece mark table (Yellow arrow, Figures 3&4).
  2. Check the piece(s) to add to the pour.
  3. Click the Add to Pour button (Red box, Figures 3&4).
  4. Select the scheduled pour from the dropdown (Yellow arrow, Figure 5) to add the piece mark to.
  5. Click the Add button (Green box, Figure 5).

The Cast Date column for the piece mark will now display the scheduled pour date, and the piece status will be updated to scheduled (SCH).

Note: The Add to Pour button remains inactive until at least one checkbox in the leftmost column is selected. Checkboxes will only appear in the table for piece marks that have a status of BKL; if none exist, no checkboxes will be displayed.
