The Estimate Summary Group module is used to define summary group names as grouping categories for estimate sections (see Reference & Figure 1a). This allows the addition of estimate sections (ex. Labor Cost) grouped by an Estimate Summary Group (ex. Plant).

You access the Estimate Summary Group screen from the Configuration > Accounting Setup sub-menu, shown below.

The Estimate Summary Group screen (see Figure 2) is where you can edit, delete, add, and view estimate summary groups.

Click the "Add new record" button from the main Estimate Summary Group screen (see the Green box in Figure 2) to open the Estimate Summary Group Add Item window (see Figure 3).
- Enter an Estimate Summary Group Description.
- Enter the order by.
- Click on the “Update” button to Add the new Estimate Summary Group (see the Green box in Figure 3).
Edit Estimate Summary Group
Click on the “edit” button to the left the Estimate Summary Group you’d like to edit (see the Orange box in Figure 2) this will bring up the Edit Item window (see Figure 4).

- You can change the Estimate Summary Group Description.
- You can change the order by.
- Click on the “Update” button to Save your changes (see the Green box in Figure 5).
Remove Estimate Summary Group

- Click the "delete" button in the corresponding row of the Estimate Summary Group you wish to remove (see Red box in Figure 5). Please note: You cannot delete an Estimate Summary Group if it is in use
- Click "OK" in the dialogue box that appears to confirm you wish to delete the record.
