Estimate Summary Group

Overview

The Estimate Summary Group screen is used to define summary group names as grouping categories for estimate sections (Reference & Figure 1a). This allows the addition of estimate sections (ex. Labor Cost) grouped by an Estimate Summary Group (ex. Plant).

Accessing the Estimate Summary Group Screen

Navigate to Configuration > Accounting Setup > Estimate Summary Group from the main menu (Figure 1).

Using the Estimate Summary Group Screen

The Estimate Summary Group screen (Figure 2) is where you can edit, delete, add, and view estimate summary groups.

Add an Estimate Summary Group

From the main Estimate Summary Group screen (Figure 2):

  1. Click the Add new record button (green box in Figure 2). The Add New popup window will appear.
  2. Enter a  name for the new Estimate Summary Group.
  3. Enter the order by number.
  4. Click the Update button to save the new Estimate Summary Group (green box in Figure 3).

Edit an Estimate Summary Group

From the main Estimate Summary Group screen (Figure 2):

  1. Click the Edit icon (orange box in Figure 2). The Edit Add-Ons popup window will appear.
  2. Make any required edits.
  3. Click the Update button to save the edits to the Estimate Summary Group (green box in Figure 4).

Delete an Estimate Summary Group

From the main Estimate Summary Group screen (Figure 2):

  1. Click the Delete icon in the corresponding row of the Estimate Summary Group to remove (red box in Figure 5). Note: You cannot delete an Estimate Summary Group if it is in use.
  2. Click "OK" in the dialogue box that appears to confirm the deletion of the record.

Export a List of Estimate Summary Groups

A list of Estimate Summary Groups in Concrete Vision can be exported from the Estimate Summary Type screen via buttons at the top left.

  • To export the list as a pdf, click the Export to PDF button.
  • To export the list as a .xlsx, click the Export to Excel button.
